Hedley Wood Caravan and Camping Park is set in natural woodland surroundings in a beautiful part of the Devon countryside, with close access to some of the most scenic coastlines in Devon and Cornwall including one of Cornwall’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the coastline between Bude and Pentire Point - with Widemouth Bay being a stunning outlook along the South West coastal path. We take pride in our efforts to maintain and nurture our natural environment, helping to ensure it is preserved and enjoyed for generations to come and enabling our guests to experience the magnificent natural surroundings whilst holidaying with us. Recycling  As part of our commitment to the environment, we ask that all guests help us in recycling as much as possible to reduce the amount of waste produced thus supporting minimum impact on our environment and wider world. You will find Recycling Areas clearly marked on our site plan with receptacles for the following: Cardboard and paper including newspapers – please flatpack all cardboard Plastic bottles, trays and containers – please crush bottles and remove all tops as these are not currently recyclable Plastic bags and plastic wrappings Cans, metal bottle tops, foil and any other metal products Glass and china – again, no plastic bottle tops! Food waste – as long as it is within recyclable green bags (can be purchased in the shop) Barbecues and electrical items – we ask that you put these in the container next to the recycling area for proper disposal Batteries – we now have a bin in Reception for the disposal of batteries To help you help us in our efforts to recycle, we now provide Food Caddy waste containers in all our static caravans together with a recycling bag which you can use to collect recyclables ready to take to the Recycling Areas for correct separation. For our caravan storage customers, we will provide you with a recycling bag for your waste, which you can take to the recycling area. Please call in to Reception to claim your bag when you next visit.
